I have been using this almost daily for a few weeks now. My baby is about 18-19lbs and 7mo. It has been a step up from my ring sling, which is great until the baby gets large and it's hard to have all that weight pulling across your shoulder & back. I have several carriers for him, including a more comfortable back/front carrier which I use for times when I'm wearing the baby for very long periods. However, this one is easy and convenient for quick trips in and out of the car. It's fine for grocery shopping and errands where I'm moving around; on a day-to-day basis, this is what I reach for more. I also appreciate that it's more figure-flattering than a back carrier for dressier occasions, like church. The print fabric is great too. I give it 5 stars, because I don't think I've seen a comparable product that's any better. However, I'd love to see some kind of hood for wind protection & sleeping support. I'd also like an attached pocket. Those are extras though, and wouldn't deter me from buying it if I had to do it over.

I really wanted to love this hip carrier, but no matter how many times i tried to use it, it just didn't work for me.
Upon putting the carrier on it would immediately slid down, below my waist as soon as i placed my daughter in it. I tried to tighten the arm and waist straps, but no matter what i tried it always slid down causing back pain within minutes!
I eventually came to the conclusion that my hight, 5'3, was the reason why the carrier didn't fit me. This carrier is truly meant for taller mom's and dads as the part of the carrier that baby sits in is simply to long and causes baby to sag below the carriers waist band.
Consequently causing it to pulled down, from the weight of the baby, until it slips off your waist...
My husband could wear it successful all days long with no slippage or back pain. He is 5'11.
Such a shame, i really wanted to like this carrier.

I loved this carrier... VERY comfortable for a hip carry. Unfortunately, my little one loves to be carried facing outward and this carrier is not really set up well for that.
